Nike Sportswear Haul
I love new workout gear. It's quite funny really as my boyfriend doesn't understand why I spend so much on something I'm essentially going to get sweaty in. As I mentioned in fitness motivation post over here, I like to use new workout gear as an incentive, when I achieve a new goal, work out 5 times a week for a whole month or eat healthy I reward myself with one item from my wish list. As my fitness journey seems to be going pretty well at the minute *pat on the back* I've ended up with lots of new sportswear. Today I thought I'd share a few Nike pieces that are new to my collection. Despite what my boyfriend may think I find Nike sportswear to be both fashionable and durable the DriFit range is so breathable my clothes don't feel uncomfortable at all, which for me is important. Nobody wants sweaty clothes that cling to all the wrong areas, and for me Nike just has my perfect fit!
Nike Pro Classic Bolt Bra - I originally bought this from Asos but it looks as though it may have sold out in most stores from a quick browse online. The Nike Pro classic bras provide medium support for low impact workouts. I like to use this bra for gym sessions, yoga or running. I'll be honest, there's not enough support for running, but I'm naughty and wear it anyway as I love the colour. Black, yellow and white print this bra adds a pop of colour to my outfit and goes really well with …
Nike Just Do It Drop Armhole vests here and here - Anyone who knows me well will know that I have one hell of a complex with my arms. No ones fault but my own as I've abandoned my arms for years, I've never incorporated any form of arm exercises into my fitness routine years of neglect has resulted in weeny arms, with literally no definition. I recently completed a 30 day arm challenge, upped my weights and I actually feel a little more confident about getting my arms out! The Nike armhole vests have a loose breezy style fit, perfect for running as things stay really cool. The tops have a boxy fit and cover the shoulder area whilst having a little show of flesh on the side detailing - which I love! If you have weeny arms like me or feel slightly paranoid about showing your arms these boxy style vest tops really are flattering.
Nike Lunarglide 6 (better picture here) - Pretty shoes, hefty price tag. At £115 certainly not the most affordable trainer, however, keep an eye out for various discount codes, also check out Sportsshoes.com as they retail slightly cheaper. Price tag aside, the Lunarglide 6 have to be the comfiest trainers I own. I originally purchased these trainers in hope that I would be able to use them for running, however the Lunarglide 6 are a neutral shoe which doesn't actually provide me with the support I need (more on finding my perfect running shoe in another post!) The Lunarglide shoes are perfect for gym sessions, classes and I even like to just wear them with jeans and a top.
Nike Grey Vapour jacket from Wiggle - The vapour jacket fit is perfect for me, most running jackets sit above your bum and are more fitted. The Nike Vapour jackets are loose fitting, cover the bum and look perfect over vest tops. The material is lightweight, waterproof and breathable. I have a Nike Vapour jacket in high vis and pink, I'm happy to add this grey one to my collection, although I love colour, it's handy to have a grey one as it just goes with everything!
So that's it, my mini Nike haul. I'd love to know what your favourite sportswear is? What are your favourite shops for high street sportswear?

#BigBlogmasproject2014 #13 Seeing Red
Some of you may be wondering what happened to my face in today's outfit post, well I'll tell you what I was pulling the most unflattering of faces in almost all the pictures that were taken, to save you all the horror I used the crop tool (thank gosh for that crop tool.) Other than reshooting it was the only option I'm afraid.
Channelling my inner tomato in this H&M jumper, but isn't the colour just lovely I feel like it really flatters my darker skin tone. Most of my winter jumpers are black/grey so it's really nice to have this bright jumper to throw on days where I just want some colour. It's worthwhile mentioning that I seem to have bought a lot of knitwear from H&M this year, I'm finding their jumpers wash really well and seem to be really good quality. The material with this jumper is super thick and snugly it does a great job of keeping me warm. Although the shape isn't the most flattering I'm prepared to sacrifice for the warmth and bright pop of colour that this jumper provides me with.
The jeans I'm wearing are from New Look. I think I've mentioned before on my blog (if not I'm having deja vu) but I absolutely love New Look for jeans. They cater to all shapes and sizes with a variety of styles, in terms of fit for me they are the best high street store. Having a deceiving waist but twig like legs I struggle to find jeans that fit well but New Look always fit me really well, the dye never runs and I just find they last me a really long time. I love the dip dye (think it's called that) effect with these jeans, I think they look really nice paired with bright jumpers like my H&M one.
My shoes are from Marks and Spencers. I absolutely love loafers but they certainly do take awhile to break in, fortunately these ones are at that comfy stage now. I love that these look kind of smart whilst the rest of the outfit is quite casual, I think they add a little interest to the outfit. I find them great to chuck on when I fancy a change from Converse, I practically live in Converse it's terrible…I'm trying to branch out slowly although Converse are always with me (I'm such an addict I keep a pair in my boot just in case!)
My bag is from Kurt Geiger. I lusted after this for months, after leaving my old job I was kindly given some leaving money which I used to purchase this bag. I'm so glad I did as it's just the perfect bag, big enough for all my junk but not too big that it will cause shoulder damage. It's great quality too and I just love it.
What's your favourite shop for knitwear? Are you a fan of bright knitwear?

Pretty In Pink
My last outfit post was back in June, I seem to have lost my confidence with fashion I'm not sure what suits my shape anymore and items that I think will suit me only end up leaving me looking like a sack of potatoes which in all honesty has resorted to me wearing Nike joggers and a hoodie (not an outfit that I thought would be of any particular interest on the blog!) I've found some confidence over recent months though colour and loud prints are back so what better time to share with you an outfit I've been loving lately. I also thought I'd show case the my new winter boots that haven't left my feet since buying them.
I think pink really suits my skin tone, this jumper from H&M has been great for cooler days but the material isn't too thick it's the perfect transitional jumper. H&M are great at the minute they have lots of items that can easily be layered, items that will suit you on warmer days but also see you through the winter months. About 70% of my clothes are from H&M for quality clothing that's still fashionable but washes well they are my go to shop.
I've featured these monochrome River Island shorts on my blog before but I pretty much think these were my most worn item this summer and that doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon as I now rock them with tights and boots. The print is gorgeous and looks lovely paired with bright t shirts or jumpers such as this one.
My Boots are from New Look, they have a such a wide variety of Boots in at the moment. I love New Look for boots because they are still high quality but won't break the bank with most ranging between £25-£30.
What are your favourite shops for winter clothing?

OOTD: Talk That Talk
Anyway onto the outfit, I think this outfit works really well (if I do say so myself.) I'm loving all things canary yellow at the moment, I'm thinking it will most likely be my colour of summer 2014. Pairing bright colours with simple monochrome pieces adds a little 'something something' to the outfit. I love the print on my shorts, they're high waisted but I have to admit they're not the most flattering of shapes. Thing's can look a little puffy which can add on a few pounds but as they were only £20 I'm prepared to rock them. My trademark sandals (that I seem to wear in almost every OOTD) were from New Look a good few years ago, I seem to recall them being a little pricier than your average sandal (£30 I think) totally worth it though as they still look good as new three years later!
Shorts- River Island £20
Top- River Island £16
Thoughts on graffiti? Do you mix monochrome pieces with bright colours? How do you style your high waisted shorts?
P.S I recently joined 'Lookbook' so if you'd like to be a fan (teehee!) give me a follow here

OOTD- Concrete Rose
I only have one rule when it comes to fashion boobs or legs, never both. However on this occasion the rules being broken (rules were made to be broken though right?) This Boohoo dress is a lot lower in the cleavage department than I originally envisioned. Boobs aside though I really do love this dress, it's so wearable, versatile and I just love the print/style.
Today marks the start of the Chelsea Flower show here in the UK so what better time to share my take on the floral trend, as lets face it the floral trend will always be 'in' and it's such a flattering print on all shapes and sizes. You can go all boho chick with flowers in your hair and although I love that look I love that this Boohoo dress is a little more on the edgy side. I think it looks perfect paired with these chunky boots from Misguided. I love mixing floral pieces with chunky boots or a leather jacket as I think the look still manages to look pretty and feminine but with a little edge.
My dress is from the Boohoo hyper floral collection, the shape is really flattering it hangs nicely. I do however think it should come with a warning the slightest bit of wind and pants will be on show (I experienced this first hand!) So make sure you wear your best pants ladies (or wear a little pair of shorts underneath.) It's super comfortable to wear and didn't feel too uncomfortable after a few pints (classy!)
I love Boohoo as I think they have super affordable pieces, the clothes always fit nicely and wash well. I like to think of Boohoo as a one stop destination for on trend affordable pieces (I recently made a rather large order there along with this dress…oops!)
So do you like my booties? I LOVE my Boots, they're from Misguided and they are just what I was after. I just love them, as they're suede there not very British weather appropriate, but I love the gold buckle detailing and chunky heel. The heels a comfortable height too, and for the price I just think they're a total bargain. I really didn't need more black boots (I have issues) but I do really like them.
Dress Boohoo Hyper Florals collection -£18
Boots Misguided £40
Are you a fan of the floral trend? Do you like chunky boots all year around? How do you style your floral pieces?

OOTD- Has the bus come yet?
Big pat on the back for me finally a few outfit pictures where I look less Bob the plumber more me, not that there's anything wrong with Bob the plumber just not really the look I'm going for.
Although this outfit isn't anything spectacular I thought I'd share it with you as I think it's an easy everyday colourful summer look. My T-shirt is from River Island (they have some lovely things in at the moment) it's a great way of taking on the 'colour block' trend with minimal effort required. I love the neon yellow panelling I think the colour really pops against my skin tone. This T-shirt really brightens up what would otherwise be a pretty plain outfit, you could pair this with denim shorts, jeans or even tucked into to a pair of leather shorts. My jeans are New Look. I can't recommend New Look jeans enough, they have varied range of shapes and styles to flatter every figure. Some jeans look baggy in all the wrong places but I find New Look jeans fit really well and really flatter my figure. Most New Look jeans come in under £25 which for the quality, cut and how well they wash is a bargain. So if you're after a new pair of jeans but don't quite want to fork out on the Topshop jeans (which I also love) check out New Look. The caged sandals are a couple of years old (sssh) they're real leather though and have survived several holidays they still look pretty good to say they've taken one heck of a beating, again these were from New Look. My bag is Zara, I apologise that the pictures don't really do it justice I'm planning on posting a 'what's in my bag' post pretty soon, but I purchased this bag for a cracking price £25 on Ebay! I expected a bidding war, I prepared myself with a drink and snack at the ready but nope I pretty much won this without any effort on my part at all, the bag was brand new and came in it's original bag and packaging. I can't recommend Ebay enough for finding great clothing at affordable prices.
Bag- Zara Mini City Bag (sold out)
Tshirt- River Island (sold out- only pink available)
Jeans- New Look
For make up I kept things pretty natural and simple (as always) I used the 'Dr Brandt no more pores' as my primer followed by NARS sheer glow, NARS Creamy Concealer and the NARS Light reflecting loose powder (lots of NARS!) I used the Clinique high impact mascara, and on my lips is a combination of the Revlon lip butter (blotted down) in 'Berry smoothie' and S&G lip gloss in 'punch bowl.'
Do you like the colour block trend? What are your favourite shops for jeans?

OOTD-Singing In The Rain
Oh would you look at that Rinica's in monochrome again! It's okay guys and dolls don't call the fashion police I reassure you my wardrobe does contain some colour. Anyway everyone has that one fail safe comfy outfit in their wardrobe, the one you can chuck on without really thinking about it, the one you can eat lots of food in, this is mine. I've recently rekindled my love for my American Apparel leggings I enjoy pairing them with shirts, and polishing of the 'look' with my favourite kicks. If I'm not wearing Nike Blazers I usually just chuck on my Converse, New Balance or Vans. I will admit the American Apparel disco pants are super over priced but however much it pains me to say it there so worth it here's why-
They wash well (man when did I turn into my mum) no overstretching/baggy look you get with cheaper leggings
The colour lasts- No fading here folks
They're very slimming/flattering (especially around the waste line)
They're versatile
High quality and last a long time
They're not see through (sorry ladies that 'I can see your pants' look just ain't cool)
Shirt-Rihanna for River Island (Sold out)
Leggings American Apparel Disco Pants (Sold out) (I managed to get mine at £30 in the Asos Sale)
Trainers- Nike Blazers
On a side note- I really want to get into posting more fashion related posts here on the blog, I know the pictures are a little amateurish at the moment what can I say I'm a not a natural born model, my poses are pretty awkward. If someone asks me to stand naturally I automatically go into my 'Jack the lad' pose (as demonstrated in picture 1.) If you have any tips or tricks for posing for outfit of the days please do let me know as it's something I'm working on. I also want to apologise in advance for the minimum make up look (I hadn't put my face on yet!) Oh and the weird blurry spot on my head (don't ask!)
Are you a fan of mixing formal/casual pieces? How do you style leggings?
P.S These New Look leggings here are kind of similar although there a little more matte looking and sadly have a button.

Topic 8: Monochrome Madness
On 'Rinica Writes' there not been many fashion related posts (translation zero) all with good reason though as I'm pretty much a jeans and sweater kinda girl. Although I love reading endless fashion blogs (I admire your style you're all gorgeous) and I seem to spend a lot of time browsing the latest styles and trends I'm just sadly not very confident when it comes to fashion or embracing new trends. 2014 is hopefully the year I get my confidence back and try some new trends. One trend that I will pretty much be rocking every single year (whether it's on trend or not) is monochrome. It's easy, it's simple and it pretty much suits every shape and size.
Leather Jacket- Mango
Playsuit- Misguided
Boots New Look (sold out)
Bag- Zara (sold out)

Week 3: Clothes Shops I Love
Here's a post that's a little different to what I usually do on Subject Beauty, a fashion post. Now I wouldn't say I'm the most fashionable of the bunch, I don't tend to follow trends or show much interest in fashion I just like to wear what I think looks good on me.
As part of #BritishBloggerSelction I was asked to write a post talking about my favourite clothes shops, Picking one would have been far too difficult, as I sure do love a good shop so here are a few of the shops I like to shop in (how many times can I say shop in one sentence haha)
The 'All Rounder'
Primark, we all know and love you. This shop is a great all rounder when it comes to shopping, from the best novelty jim jams to a faux leather jacket that looks like it should belong in Topshop, it's one of those places that I know I can always find a gem at a bargain price. I don't know anyone who doesn't love a good shop in Primark.
Great For Smock Dresses
Asos do smock dresses like no other, fact (be weary though sizing can be a little iffy, size down!) Another reason I love Asos is its a one stop destination with lots of different brands. Ever found something you wanted on the River island or New look website that's completely sold out check Asos there's a possibility it may be stocked. Another bonus, Asos have free delivery, and free returns on every single item.
Best For Workwear
No shops quite do workwear as well as Zara. Smart well fitted shirts, skirts and trousers are quality with Zara. The clothes can be a tad more on the pricier side but with good reason great quality and last forever. I also couldn't mention Zara and not talk about their bags. The famous 'Office city bag' was a tad on the large size for me but if you are looking for something structured, stylish and smart Zara is your answer for a nice handbag.
Best For Jeans
Whenever I say 'jeans' Topshop automatically springs to mind. I have more Topshop jeans then I care to admit, addicted me...never. Great jeans that wash well and are great quality, available in different cuts and styles to suit different shapes and sizes. When it comes to high street jeans I think Topshop certainly know what they're doing
Best For Knitwear
The colder months are here so we all certainly need some stylish knitwear to see us through. In my opinion Next do knitwear well, a little more on the pricey side but worthwhile for a jumper that will wash well and see you through until the following year. A surprise for me but I also think Marks & Spencer are great for knitwear and have certainly upped there game. Is it just me or do they seem to be catering for all age groups lately there pieces have become a lot more modern and trendy. However uncool it may be to say I do think M&S are doing pretty good when it comes to knitwear
So there's a few or my favourite clothes shops, id love to know what your favourite clothes shop are leave a comment below or tweet me @subjectbeauty1

What I Wore #1
Top River Island
Leggins American Apparel
My shirt is from the Rihanna for River Island collection - I loved this as soon as I saw it even though the back is a tad too long, but this shirt can be dressed up or down and well if you haven't already guessed I love it.
I pared the shirt with my American Apparel leggings to me these are super expensive but I can report since buying them I have practically lived in them. The fit and quality are so worth it! I've still not found anything that compare to these.
I finished off the look by chucking on my Nike Blazers (the only trainers I own that I have managed to keep clean!) these are super duper comfy. They look great with skirts, dresses, jeans just an all round great trainer and I got them for the bargain price of £45! (They retail at £70)
What do you think of this outfit? Does anyone own the American Apparel leggings...I'm always looking for new ways to style them.
Is anyone excited for the AW Rihanna for River island collection? After seeing the preview I certainly am
Rinica.

The Zara Bag.
Let's talk bags, everyone raves about Zara bags and I've never really 'got it' I owned the Zara Office city bag and I didn't like it *dodges punches from office city bag owners* I felt like I was carrying a suitcase everywhere I went! It's huge, don't get me wrong I pretty much filled it (with all that bag junk us girls seem to carry everywhere!) but it was heavy and a chore to carry around. Anyway enough hate onto my new purchase...
I recently bought the ' City bag with pocket' after seeing it on this post (If you haven't checked out the blog 'What Olivia did' go there now lovely photography and great posts!)
I must say the quality of Zara bags is pretty much spot on there well made and look a lot more expensive then they are. This bag is much more suited to me I love the detailing and colour contrast. The bag is structured, well made, and I seem to receive lots of compliments whenever I use it. This bag is almost like a mini Office city bag but with a bit more interest and a lot less weight!
At £22.99 it's nowhere near cheap (or maybe I'm just a cheapskate) but for the quality I didn't feel to robbed parting with my cash.
Do you like Zara? There AW collection is now available is there anything your lusting after?

L.O.D
LOD (Little orange dress) how I do adore you! I found this gem in the Topshop sale, it's lovely to wear in summer paired with some ankle boots, you could also pair this with a denim jacket to add to the casual look. To glam this dress up more you could add a chunky necklace...I think that's my idea of glamming up a piece! Overall this dress is a lovely basic item that's lovely come summer but could also work all year around.
*Warning my picture does the dress no justice please do view the dress on the Topshop site the dress is much more of a neon orange in the flesh so if brights aren't your thing steer clear*
Have you found any gems in the Topshop sale?
